We review submissions to ensure listings are accurate, well-maintained, and a good fit for Lake Conroe travelers. Our goal is a curated experience, not a crowded marketplace.

No. We do not manage properties, handle guests, collect rent, or provide cleaning or maintenance services. Hosts remain in full control of their bookings, pricing, guest communication, and policies.

At launch, bookings are handled through your chosen booking platform. We may introduce optional direct-booking tools in the future, but participation will always be optional.

After the founding period, hosts can choose from optional monthly listing tiers designed to fit different visibility needs. Standard Host Plan 1 Listing Standard Host Plan — $49/month 2 Listing Standard Host Plan — $69/month Includes: • Directory + category placement • Host dashboard access • Unlimited content edits • No commissions This option is ideal for hosts who want consistent local exposure without commissions or guest management. Featured Listing — $99/month (LIMIT 1 PER HOST) Upgrade applies to one property only per host to ensure fair exposure. Includes: • Homepage rotation • Top-of-category placement • Featured badge • Priority placement when browsing • Rotational social media exposure (Instagram + Facebook) This option is best for hosts who want increased exposure during peak seasons or when launching a new listing. Additional Listings — $25/month per property • Same visibility as other Standard listings

Lake Conroe Retreats is designed as a curated local discovery platform, not a high-volume marketplace. Listing fees support: • Ongoing site maintenance and visibility • Marketing and promotion of Lake Conroe stays • A clean, uncluttered experience for travelers • A limited number of quality listings rather than an overcrowded directory Many hosts find that a single additional booking often covers several months of listing fees.

Once you’ve submitted your property details, our team will review them and give you access to the platform. You can fill in the details of your property and make it active as soon as you are ready.

Yes. You can request to remove your listing at any time. There are no contracts or long-term obligations.
